9th Batch Organic dye Training

Natural dyes are dyes or colorants derived from plants, invertebrates, or minerals. The majority of natural dyes are vegetable dyes from plant sources—roots, berries, bark, leaves, and wood—and other organic sources such as fungi and lichens.9th batch training started with 25 home based workers and are going under training in natural dying process in Lango, Paro which was started on 16th of August and will be completed on 20th of August. Dry madder, lac (Jatsho), Artemisia (Khenpa Shing), etc. was used for dying process.
