The weaving unit at the Trade Facilitation Centre (TFC-Main Office) currently accommodates a master weaver and seven weavers. They are a part of the design team, developing new designs & motifs. The members also prepare weaving kits and guide the other Home Based Workers. The weaving unit serves as training centre for members from all clusters for capacity building and skill enhancement trainings.
SABAH Bhutan Handicrafts is located at the Craft Bazaar (Stall No. 46) serves as an avenue towards creating awareness of the organization and the promotion of the products produced by the Home Based Workers. It displays a range of hand woven products made by our member Home Based Workers. The products ranges from traditional Bhutanese attire- Gho & Kira to home décor items like cushion covers, table runners, table mat sets and floor rugs, and small accessory items like purses and handbags.
A display unit is set up at our Trade Facilitation Centre (Main Office) mainly to display the products produced by the member Home Based Workers from different clusters.
